EU a clarification

Absolutely true,no body on the planet new 100% what brexit means, still dont,,but we do not want to be In EU,,,fekin jeez you lot are thick.

You know, I think I have got it.

You want out of the EU, no matter how much it costs people and the economy. It doesn't matter if we deliberately set ourselves back years. There is no economic or other benefit to look forward to, that you know of.

As long as we don't stay in the EU.

I hope you get the brexit you voted for then. Will be really annoying to you if we don't ?

The referendum was to leave the EU, not to be bound by the EU regualtions, and not to have to accept open borders.

To be just like any other country not in the EU.

That's pretty clear. Why do you find that so difficult?

Erm, because it's wrong ?

A deal is to be agreed in the next 2 weeks said so on the radio ;)

EU is caving in

Which of the available options do you think the UK is going to try for?

I see Sinn Féin and the SDLP have rejected the possibility of Stormont having a say over what kind of backstop may emerge if there is a 'no deal' Brexit.

So perhaps the current UK government is hoping to brush aside the NI problem.

do you mean the "no deal" catastrophe?

Or do you mean what you voted for, which is "resign from the EU and take whatever deal the government of the day (whoever that might be) can get the EU to agree to"

Dunno but I assume which ever option they agree on
Simples

"What the UK government tries for" and "what the EU will agree to" are not the same thing.

Not accurate what u mean is

What the EU tries for and what the UK government will agree to are not the same thing

It looks like the Eu are going to cave in nothing new there tbh

Europe has a history of caving in

Stormont has probably gone forever, it was always a waste of money anyway.
The truth is N.Ireland politicians are too politically immature to agree on anything.
