But Buffoon is a notorious liar, so we still don't know.

I think he should have taken his "ditch" option. There's still time.

BoJo has admitted today that he will ask the EU for an extension on Brexit October 19 !!

I dont think Johnson cares.

My guess is that his plan is to campaign for no deal, say its for negotiating power with the EU, but is actually blackmail for MPs.

The 'deal' -is just a game, he knows the EU wont accept and he knows MPs wont agree to the backstop.

It is all gamesmanship to get the ERG and Labour leavers voting Tory.
He might say 31st Oct do or die, but thats just to play to an audience, he knows the chances are slim.

He is simultaneously playing a blame strategy, so if an extension happens, he will be doubling down on the people vs parliament and increase division.

His whole game is to win an election, Brxiit to him is a just a sideshow which he needs to milk to get to his real goal: stay in power.

I must admit the game play strategies are quite clever......its fascinating to see how an electorate can be manipulated

"Boris Johnson will send a letter to the EU asking for a Brexit delay if no deal is agreed by 19 October, according to government papers submitted to a Scottish court.''

Poor wording explained for the brexiters:

It does not mean if they have agreed to have no deal,
It means if they haven't agreed on a deal to have.

Is it?

is it just opinion that the UK chose to leave?

are you saying the Irish border issue is not a real issue?
The Irish border issue is a load of nonsense.
Ireland exports goods all over the world with no problems.
They export to countries outside the EU border without any trouble at all.
Beef is exported to China, any regulatory checks for export are carried out at the abattior by Vets, the beef is then exported in sealed containers to China.
These type of checks are carried out on most other goods to be exported outside the EU.
Meeting the regulatory demands of countries outside the EU is no big deal.

Then you will need sealed containers to and from the Republic, won't you?

OMG!, sealed containers!, the games up Vinty.

So - you can't see any difference between that and "the postman".

EFL, before you dig yourself a hole, all containers are sealed, always have been, if not for customs purposes then for security purposes, hard border or soft border, that's why the handles have little holes in them.

Then explain to me why there is a border between Sweden and Norway.....

Or between Switzerland and France.

Or between Turkey and bulgaria /greece.

Perhaps you should do your own research instead of relying on your entrenched view

There is difference between ' Ireland trading around the world with no problem' and 'keeping an open border into the single market'.

Of course there is, filling out a simple form or customs declaration would be the main difference wouldn't it?

I think filly has never met a Customs officer or an Impex Agent.
