European governments are advising businesses not to use British parts in goods for export ahead of B

You do realise that the final settlement is money we have committed to paying, don't you?

Nothing is agreed until everything is agreed.

Since the EU decided final settlement needed to be agreed before moving to trade talks, then the settlement agreement needs to be in response to an acceptable negotiation for trade talks.

I think you will find that the "nothing is agreed until........" etc, applies to the actual divorce, not the future trade talks.

But it might be a case of just crashing out at this rate. EU says the backstop applies to NI only, TM says that is not acceptable and it must apply to UK as a whole, and DD says that is a red line which he cannot cross.
And that is ignoring the date in the UK's version which EU have also refused to accept.
Three way stalemate. Two of the parties stalemated are in the same government.

Well since our government has conceded that the UK will be legally bound to pay its £39bn Brexit divorce bill before any trade deals are completed, then your 'information' is out of date...

"Nothing is agreed until everything is agreed" is about as accurate as "we'll have our cake and eat it"!

The UK government is fully aware of EU (single market) trading rules. It's up to our government to decide how it wants to engage with the EU bloc, once we leave. They (the government) just haven't made up their minds yet.
