I think you probably need to read that again.
You're right. Thanks for noticing. Now corrected.

However, it seems that people probably understood what I instructed my fingers to type, even though they disobeyed that instruction ;)

If I look at the about for may of the people posting on this forum it tells me maybe how old they are and where in UK they live, I am sure there are some who do include their qualifications, but not many, ...
Indeed.
we due to their answers tend to know which know what they are talking about,....
Again true.
.... but only because we are also qualified.
I think you are over-estimating the relevance of 'qualifications' (or the absence of them) ...

... it's for other to judge whether I "know what I am talking about", but when it comes to my making judgements about others, I would like to think that I am very capable of deciding whether people "know what they are talking about", despite my having absolutely no relevant 'qualifications'.

In other words, as well as being no indication of a lack of knowledge/'competence', nor does the absence of 'qualifications' mean that one is not able to judge whether others "know what they are talking about".

Conversely, unfortunately, it would seem that some people with 'qualifications' do not necessarily always "know what they aree talking about", and hence may also be unable to correctly judge whether others "know what they are talking about" !
