I'm thinking of EWI - I have CWI (and other than a few settlement gaps at the top which I've attended to while doing the roof, it seems well packed with fluffy stuff in the many areas I've exposed recently) but I think EWI as well given the current situation - has anyone done the maths?
As a DIYer I was thinking of cement board (Hardie/Cedral) cladding fixed to horizontal battens over 50mm celotex? What I find a bit annoying is that the planning system (where brickwork will often have to be replaced with cladding or render) hasn't been adjusted to reflect this desperate need to better insulate our homes.
