Must admit, I've had a few steaks in the Argentinian Steak Houses on the Dam Rak, in Amsterdam. Fantastic steaks, done just how you like them.
ah...................Amsterdam...............happy memories....mind you....did you know, they now charge you a euro to smoke a cigarette (tobacco) in the coffee shops where you can smoke dope???!!!!

Didn't know that Diane. First time I was there, I went into a coffee house (strictly for research you know) Asked the missus what she wanted and the reply came "A cup of tea.)
I asked if she wanted anything with it and she asked what else they sold. I told her "they have some nice looking cakes dear."
She said she'd have a small cake with her cuppa, so I ordered a beer, a cup of tea, a spacecake and something else for myself.
A few hours later she was starving,
Anyway, we're walking around Amsterdam and I'm looking in shop windows as we traipse round thinking, "That's a jewellers, a tailors, a chemist, a bookshop, a confectioners, another jewellers, a bakery, a cafe, a lingerie shop,,,,,,,,,, A Lingerie Shop,,,, Looking again, I'd realised the "Lingerie model was waving and winking at me as I walked past.
Didn't realise we'd walked into the Red Light district and what I was seeing were the famous "Windows."
Anyways, whilst walking around , we also found a couple of the "Hidden Churches", some of the street sculptures by the "Unknown Artist" and the Porn Museum (good laugh)
Great times.
