My best was "Battleship" at 29lbs and a few tins of luncheon meat when I got him Few years back mind. Dead now, reports say a "night fisherman in wellies and a funny accent" had him away.
Heard a few lakes I used years ago now use bailiffs to protect the fish from "European" visitors.
I know the canal was decimated by netting and the bailiffs assaulted.
