Did you know that breathing doesn't stop cancer either. We should probably stop doing that too..if the only indication of something 'working' is that it reduces cancer.
 
If you have 34 a day, sounds like that should eliminate the risk of cancer, but the toilet paper bill is bond to increase.
 
I do eat fruits but not as much as 5 a day but instead I drink Barley Grass powder with water daily for quite a while now, I understand it's one of the most healthiest drink and fight cancer cells. At first it's a bit yuk to start with but after a while I don't have any problem drinking it, taste like cold tea and the green colour might put some people off :) can be added to breakfast cereal, smoothies, juice, water, rice milk, yogurt or any other foods but do it in small dosages until the body get used to it.

I remember reading years ago that the number '5' had no basis in research. It was just a figure someone had plucked out of the air that had been enshrined in holy writ. It could just have easily been 3.5 or 7.

That said keep eating the fruit! Our bodies are designed for it. You'll avoid constipation and I'm sure it won't do you any harm.
 
no its different in other countries as well. It might not stop cancer, but it stops a lot of other things.
by the way did you know that the recomended daily intakes they publish on packets are absolute minimums based on preventing things like ricketts etc and are hopelessly out of date!
