Five lights don't work

Not wound up - just helping people get things right; like not calling switches sockets.
So you are helping them and calling them stupid at the same time, it doesn't work. I would rather read a flowing clear sentence with the occasional typo or spelling error. A lot of people cannot spell, some because of dyslexia but are very talented in other areas. The switch/socket thing is just pedantic
Irrelevant.
What we say and write now is because of past change.

Therefore it is us, and not you, that are the arbiters of correct English grammar. That will stop you teaching the locals incorrectly.
Total avoidance

Because the truth demolishes his claims.

I live in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. He was very good to be fair and I would use him again.

I asked for a breakdown of the costs for the second visit (on the invoice it said £90 for the call out and the fitting of a bathroom bulk head light). I asked for the make and model of the light and a breakdown of the costs and received this response. The response was that the make of the light was KSR and the model was unknown and a breakdown would not be provided because company policy does not allow it - to prevent price fixing and gauging within the electrical industry. Never had a problem asking for breakdowns before so a little concerned, but on the other side of the coin - solved my problems quickly so would like to use again in future. My instincts are telling me just pay it and move on, but thought I would ask.

If it’s a company your bill will include the dreaded VAT too - so it’s not outrageous.

Most KSR lights are of very good quality with longer guarantees

A mince pie contains mincemeat, which is not minced meat.

Presently does not now mean now

Proof does not usually mean test.

Nice no longer means close, precise.

There is no point in you moaning that a language changes over time.

Because of the mistaken in the past.
Let us stop giving in to them.

There is no point in you telling me that.
