Flow- Vent- Feed -Pump

Success! finally. For anyone with flame intensity stuck at the lowest level on vitodens; see attached.

Even though the instructions apply to combi variant, I can confirm that it also worked on heat only version of the vitodens as well and after following the instructions the CH dial now behaves as it should!

@fixitflav the service knob on heat only boiler has mysterious functions not covered in MI, very poor documentation in manual and tech support. I expected Tech support of the manufacturer to know this to the very least.

Ah, so with the previous entering of the service mode and twisting dials that was mentioned before, had inadvertently set the max burner rate to min? It is strange that if functions are enabled in a boiler that it isn't covered in the manual. As you say, poor documentation/poor show from the manufacturers.

Most probably. The tech support should have picked it up and I specifically asked about resetting all controls, even then they came up with Plate HEX and gas control valve!

Well done for sorting it!
I can see it in Viessmann combi MI. Sounds like their guys weren't any help, did you find it by accident?

I was looking at another forum and came across this excerpt from MI for a combi boiler. I followed the instructions and it worked.

I have just spotted another error/glitch in my Vaillant 470f setup...

It show the hot water cylinder as 'charged' (up to temperature) whether it is charged or not..

Indeed, they should have known that the 100-W OV had the ability to adjust the burner setting through the front controls. I'd be tempted to feed that back to them.
AI makes its debut in Gas Boilers.
