"""Drive to the countryside seaside or beauty spot to social distance"""What could possibly go wrong telling 60M people that!!!!!...FFS...For me. ..the walkers in the video are completely stupid and selfish..For me the walkers in the video need praised as how it should be don
so we would all be better off if they went for a walk in a busy park?"""Drive to the countryside seaside or beauty spot to social distance"""What could possibly go wrong telling 60M people that!!!!!...FFS...For me. ..the walkers in the video are completely stupid and selfish..
If there is an issue in risk of traffic accidents that could put unwanted pressure on the health service, then why are we all not being told to drive slower? reduce all speed limts by 50%
injuries (hence stress on NHS) are proportionate to speed!
I rather think we've been told to drive slower since driving began.then why are we all not being told to drive slower?
how is it a strawman? accidents can cause injury, the higher speed of impact the more likely the seriousness of the injury and the more likely the need to involve the NHSWhich is a strawman argument in the context and you know it.
Most people should be at home so reducing speed limit is a bit numb.Would need even more police to in force...so we would all be better off if they went for a walk in a busy park?
i'm not talking about driving 20 or 30 miles away, which I agree would be not in the spirit of the rules. For me a 2.7 mile drive gets us somewhere where we will not see anyone else. Go from home and it's like paddies market.

Driving a few miles to a local beauty spot is not in the spirit either...why would no one else have the same idea.....Why not just do what the Ferkin govt suggests FFSSSSSso we would all be better off if they went for a walk in a busy park?

Argue the toss with the copper whilst he fills out your £960 fine. What do you make of this
providing the folk are local (up to 10 mile away ) are they doing anything wrong? looks like perfect social distancing to me.
We have been doing something very similar. Drive 3 mile up to the forestry and go for a walk there, although there may be half a dozen cars in the car park we will not see anyone when out walking. If we set off from the house we will meet loads of other people out walking, and in places it is a narrow path so no chance of 2 metre space.
For me the walkers in the video need praised as how it should be done.
Impact speed, not free travelling speed.injuries (hence stress on NHS) are proportionate to speed!
Impact speed, not free travelling speed.[/
information about the effects of travelling speed on casualty crash involvement
was obtained by calculating the expected reduction in rural crashes due to various
hypothetical reductions in vehicle travelling speeds in rural areas.
We found that the risk of a free travelling speed passenger vehicle being involved in a
casualty crash, relative to the risk for a passenger vehicle travelling at an average speed,
increased at greater than an exponential rate
