Something that's dying out apparently. It's been so long since Scotland had a competitive team that modern Scottish youngsters are a bit more secure than the older generations and are slowly losing that desperate need to constantly compare themselves to England.

hard to understand why they are rubbish at football with so many of their internationals playing in the top flight. Further I love going to Scotland and done the full tour many times. English hatred no ,**** taking sarcasm yes. Atleast they belong on this island.
I agree. When we have visited Scotland we have found nothing but welcoming and friendly faces. Mind you, we have never dared to visit a Glasgow pub!
The Scots (and the English) at our Scottish country dancing club are also very nice people.
