I thought that the 'no-maintenance' type connections were classed as being non-compliant with the regs?

i dont see how it can.. over the years as the copper heats, expands and contracts it gets loose in the joint.
i cant see how resin will stop that.

DNO's have used this sort of joint for over 10 years with an expected life of 50 years, we can operate our cables at higher temperatures than in installations and are not worried (we are also using a similar design up to 33,000V
ok, but to be clear.. the joints are screw terminals
