Frozen condensate pipe

"The main advantage that polypropylene posesses is it ability to withstand higher temperatures than PVC-U. It will withstand temperatures up to 90oC and for a limited time up to 110oC.

The wall behind the cooker will not get that hot.

Thanks for all the ideas. We would prefer having the pipe running indoors to the sink waste. The sink is to the left of the kettle on another wall. I will look into having the pipe run behind the gas stove and electric cooker and report back.

I can just about guarantee that if it is a standard depth oven and the units are standard depth, once the oven is pushed fully home there will not be enough void space at the back to run a clipped 21.5mm PVC/ABS condensate pipe behind it.

The usual voids you get with an inbuilt is usually on the oven itself and it's a cut out on the right corner edge and sometimes along the top back edge, there's usually very little space left to the rear of an undercounter oven

And you may be surprised how hot the outside of an oven can get.

Edited for crap grammer

A standard unit is usually 595mm deep and oven 550-560mm deep,

it can be done with 22mm Geberit Mapress stainless steel pipe to span the oven space,

and 2 McAlpine R1M 3/4" Overflow Straights, for connecting back to 3/4" overflow pipe.

the majority of ovens now you struggle even to have room for 15mm for the pipe to the hob so as madrab says it is probably not an option

The oven is standardsize.
Would it be a good idea to fill a large empty flower pot with lime chips and put in beneath the pipe just as an interim measure?

Thanks again for all your help.

Can you show us the outside of the wall behind the sink please

And a pic of the cooker from the front

I think you may need to look behind the cooker to find out how big the gap REALLY is.

In the short term, don't worry about it though if you do have lime chips to hand then of course, it wouldn't be a bad idea.

Where's that anaconda (Stainless Steel Ribbed pipe) heading to from under the sink and what does it connect to?

The pipe goes to the smart meter in the corner cupboard.
The Bosch oven is quite old couldn't find any manuals on the Bosch website. Width is 55 cm and the inside depth 46 cm.
Just an idea: Could one run the pipe underneath the kitchen units and oven?
Thanks again for your help. Enjoy the rest of Sunday
