Fused Neutral?

I think you should phone your supplier again and state very clearly that it is a fused Neutral and IT IS DANGEROUS!

YEDL's response will be that it's been fine since before 1955 and they will sort it out in their own good time.

Most of the region has no proper means of earthing and they are equally concerned to correct that, quick as a flash, within 6-12 weeks.

Got told by one of our mains lads the other day that if a spark found a problem with an earth they should fit their own.

You can't really fit your own link to a fused neutral (safely IMO ;) ) which makes me think the call centre didn't understand properly.

I trouble call fused neutrals on a regular basis and mains are out to at least have a look and see whats needed within a few hours.
