Whilst we have poverty in this country, I'd hazard a guess most people living in poverty have running water and a high % will have a roof over their heads.
What western governments are doing at home is not connected (not directly anyway) to what we're doing in terms of aid to other countries. My point stands. Whether the aid is ring-fenced or not, some of these countries wouldn't need as much if their leaders weren't bleeding their countries dry.
Boris should perhaps give them a lecture...

Can't believe your solution is to buy bottled water. How much do you think 2 litres of tap water costs you?
Just draw off a jug/ panful and let it stand for 24 hours. The Chlorine will dissipate.
Far cheaper and much better for the environment on several different levels.

But UK national debt is 2.2 trillion, a failing economy that they brought on themselves, a clown as PM, surrounded by a bunch of corrupt millionaires, and the serious risk of the Union splitting apart.
No wonder you and others want the spotlight elsewhere.
No need to fret. It's only a couple of bottles a week for drinking, the tap water is perfectly ok for tea and coffee. The bottles are recycled.
As a bonus, I'm helping to support jobs in the plastics, oil and transport industries, etc.

Imagine what the benefits would be if everybody reduced their bottled water consumption.

Not possible to reduce mine, it's at zero already. But then I don't drink unadulterated water as I don't like the taste of it.
