Go Austria!

Haven't got a clue what you are talking about but if something rigged, it doesn't sound right.

So tell me your opinion now after reading the below. You voted for this.

https://www.theguardian.com/media/2...ce-to-apply-for-ofcom-chair-ministers-confirm

Paul Dacre will “imminently” be offered another chance to become chair of the media regulator, Ofcom, ministers have confirmed.

Ministers have been attempting to appoint the former Daily Mail editor to run the watchdog since last summer. They had thought in May that this had been achieved, only for Dacre unexpectedly to flunk his final interview, with the interview panel saying he was “not appointable”.

So the Government is re running the process with new Interviewers one of which is the Husband of a Tory Mp.

This election I voted tactically Lib Dems to oust the s hit show Tories. I have voted for all three parties in this broken system,

Is it this conceit once again that you have asked and its been answered again and again. Your vote to Boris is a vote for lies, corruption and deceit.

There are many fine Tory Mps who were deselected, quite a few decent ones remain - I like the cut of Tugenhadt jib.

Boris and his cronies have to go - they are corrupt - you know it, but with an 80 seat majority and our ridiculous fptp system that there will be a Tory Government for the next parliament as well - so the best case is for the country is for a change of leadership.

So stop with your conceit.

Mottie doesn't care.

He's a Tory, so there can't possibly be any collusion or sleaze...

I'll now take my rose tinted spectacles off and put my readers on...

...oh, dear!

Mottie doesn't care.
Oh shut up you bore. Go and do some long distance driving or use your priviledges to poke your nose in to a section of this forum that you are not allowed into if you've nothing better to do.

I voted Conservative because Boris was the only one willing to honour the referendum vote (whether you agree with it or not). He did what the majority of voters voted for (whether you like it or not). Just because I voted Conservative, it doesn't mean that I have 'voted' for everything they have done since. You voted Liberal Democrat. Do you think that those who voted Liberal Democrat in the past voted for any of this? Grow up.

Did those who voted Labour vote for them to sell off our Gold at a knockdown price or to go to war on a lie? That's what they got. Anyone who thinks ANY political party won't do anything wrong once in power is sadly mistaken. You just have to vote on what you want at the time and you can't be responsible for actions taken after they are in power. Do you think things would have been any better if Labour, Liberals or Greens got in?

You don't get to vote on individual policies, you vote for them to represent you on all issues as they arise.
You voted for them to enact whatever policies they choose to enact. You must take responsibility for that.
Once you have cast your vote, the only opportunity you get to influence their political agenda is via contacting your MP to voice your sentiments.
After that, it's the next election before you can influence who or what your representative stands for.

Lol - you have voted one party all your life. But lets break apart your conceit once again.

Honoured a referendum that was never clear in its outcomes - where is the £350m for the NHS? If this deal was put forward to the public you think they would still vote for Tories?

Not once have I seen you ask for voting reform - so my voting record is my way of bringing about change - I will add it to my xmas list to get my own Daily Mail media empire to pullute the publics mind.

Sell gold - that was £3.5bn. That's one tentth the cost of track and trace and how many billions in wasted PPE to companies of Tory MPs mates?

Lies matter - finally you accept but then why your blindspot to all the lies about Brexit?

One thing for sure there would be less corruption - look at the list of MPs with outside consultancy work, lobbying etc - its dominated by Torys.

You have given them a free pass yet you still won't accept your own responsibility into voting them into power.

Your opinion on this please.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/sleaze-boris-johnson-dowden-paterson-b1957690.html

The Conservatives have again rejected a watchdog’s call for Boris Johnson to be stripped of the power to decide whether ministers are investigated for sleaze, despite rising public anger.

The independent committee on standards in public life made the recommendation – followed by a startling warning that Britain risk slipping into becoming “a corrupt country”.

It followed Mr Johnson’s refusal to allow investigations of Robert Jenrick and Matt Hancock, a controversy then fuelled by the botched attempt to fix anti-sleaze rules to clear Owen Paterson.

Start your own post if you're that bothered. This one is about lockdown in Austria.

Which was a pack of lies and impossible promises.

No surprise that he is unable to deliver what Brexers thought they were going to get

Which was never agreed and defined anyway, because if it had been, all the Brexers who imagined they were going to get something different would have rejected it.

Mottie doesn't care.

Mottie was upset I called this Government a shower of sh ite and in the proceeding exchange exposed his tired old conceit to the point he doesn't want to engage anymore. It's childish but Boris knows his acolytes - second hand nostalgia and flag waving.

Out of interest, who did you vote for and what government would you like to see running the show?

Yes, as it seems there are people who are happy to entertain these conspiracy theories and then vote for the Government in power. Cognitive dissonance overload.

All conspiracy theories do is deflect from the sh it show that is the current Government.
Surely I don't approve what this government has done with covid and haven't voted them.
I had a chance to find out the true nature of bojo when he was mayor of London, so he would never get my vote.
