You can't believe everything that you read can you?
I quite harshly stated that we only get one side of the story, as you do too, so there could be all kinds of mitigating circumstances, which I think others have referred to also. Why can't I get a job? I've had a few interviews recently, 16 people interviewed in one session for 1 job, I think it might have something to do with a recession, and people being laid off? I've been to dole skool again today, and they are desperate to get me a placement in a business, so anyone out there need a hand for free? in my area? Because it is mandatory that I do this, and I only have 4 weeks left.
Just a load of ticking boxes and form filling when I attend, I said, to whose benefit is doing this? They told me for their own internal use. So a Government funded agency is wasting tax payers money, doing nothing other than patronise me, send badly worded cover letters to potential placements (You might have seen that thread), and pay goodness knows what to cover everyones travel expenses to get there, when they act so unprofessionally, (the office is basically someone's house), I complain about the letter I posted, and it goes straight in the bin, 'I see no issue with that', and they can't explain what their objective is.
I get off my arse to look for a job, get the interview, and nail it, only to get knocked back time and time again. These agencies are a joke, non attendance means no money,they are idiots. So unless out of work, don't criticise. It's barren. And don't confuse the lazy workshy, with the people that do want work.
Even the unemployed look down on them.
