What Trump and Johnson prove is that if you lie big, you can win big.
Social Media is allowing lies to spread faster than the truth

Cummings is using cynical manipulation using the tactics of nationalism to divide and conquer.

the left which are more interested in creating a fairer society ave no chance, because they are wanting to spread an honest message, not a cynical one designed to cover up the self interest that drives the right.

It was the poor conservative regions that voted for brexit in large numbers....against their best interests



Starmer doesnt have the charisma of a liar like Boris, but then neither does Merkel, and Germany hasnt exactly done badly under her leadership.

Everyone knows Boris tells porkies but it doesn't really matter, it is all down to perceptions and not reality.
Boris has bags of confidence and is a winner, so it follows that if Boris believes we can win then we will win because Boris doesn't do failure.
Starmer on the other hand comes across as always worried about something.

Boris has bags of confidence and is a winner, so it follows that if Boris believes we can win then we will win because Boris doesn't do failure.

It does matter: the country suffers as a result of a liar getting away with lying.....he only gets away with it because the press colludes and the media does not call out the lying.

the chaos and damage from Brexit will be hard to hide next year, Starmer will get into the lead -I dont think he is a strong leader or much of a personality, but he is at least seen as a credible leader.

When Labour under TB's leadership came about I stopped voting for 10+ years. No one for me to vote for.

Boris is doing OK at the moment, once the money runs out it could be a different story.
Labours big mistake was not wholeheartedly supporting Brexit, they should have accepted for better or worse that a majority voted to leave the EU.
