sorry to resurrect an old thread but if your still having problems with your LED bulbs try the Philips 3w LED's. Ive just installed 30 of these throughout the house. They are the best alternative to halogens I’ve seen. Don’t be put off by the low wattage, they are brighter than the 4w General electrics or Ring units i have tried. There not cheap but they are probably the best out there at the moment.
