From what I have learned over the last few years, Guy Fawkes was about as important in the plot as Ronnie Biggs was in the train robbery. Strange how only one person gets all the publicity.
 
I think its a strange coincednce why he picked bonfire night to hatch the plot....

Maybe he was planning on allthe bangs covering up the sound?..
