For a while now I have been thinking about using my skill saw as a table saw, i.e getting some 18mm ply and routering out the width and length of the skill saw plate, finding someway of securing it down and find some sort of gadget that I can use to hold the switch down, with some sort of safety pull cord for quick shut off and bobs your uncle. Its all a bit umms and rrrr's at the moment, but I have seen something similiar once upon a time in a Screwfix catalogue, or do you think I should leave well alone?
