HETAS in Nottingham

I am having a right job trying to find a HETAS engineer to fit a wood burner.

Plenty of 'shops' will do it and start by marking a £500 wood burner up to £800.

One even gave me a quote over the phone of £1400 without any engineer visit?!?!

A few claim to be HETAS but do not appear on the HETAS website???

Is it just me or does getting a Wood burner fitted legitimately seem to be a impossible task without being significantly ripped off!!!! ...

Moreover does anyone know a reputable HETAS engineer in Nottingham or localish who would be worth contacting?

All have, (our used to have) Hetas approved engineers. I made short list for a project that didn't work out, so I didn't use any of their services in the end, but you could give them a try.

What do you need to fit, other than the chimney lining?
My friends in Cotgrave had theirs done. I'll them who they used and how much.
