Just because the downsides of neutral fuses are regarded by the powers that be as outweighing the advantages does not mean that neutral fuses have no good points.
The advantage of neutral fuses is that they prevent the neutral wire from overheating in the event of a fault that causes a current flow between the neutral conductor and something other than the corresponding live conductor(s). This can happen in serveral cases among them an upstream live-neutral reversal or an upstream bad neutral combined with a neutral to earth fault in your installation.
The downside of neutral fuses is that disconnecting the neutral while leaving the live connected means that the downstream devices become "apparently dead" while both the downstream live and downstream neutral conductors both become live.
In a three phase setup neutral fuses are even worse because if they blow downstream devices are very likely to be subject to significant overvoltages.
Just because the downsides of neutral fuses are regarded by the powers that be as outweighing the advantages does not mean that neutral fuses have no good points.
I wouldn't expect many people to disagree with that, but I also think that most/all would agree with the powers-that-be that the downsides outweigh the advantages.
