I have a normal small drill and a SDS drill .

I need a some holesaw bits . Preferably a little kit with different sizes.

Mainly for ceilings for downlights / spotlights etc

Does anyone recommend any . Some that wont cost an arm or a leg.

Is it the case you get what you pay for ?

Thanks

Personally I’d avoid the multi hole sets with the circular split saw blades and go for the size you actually need.
The good thing is, one arbor will suit most sizes so you only need to buy one of those.

Makita do a good range of holesaw sets but until you know what size cut out you need you might need to add to the collection. Consider the DADE drill dust collector when doing down lights

Also do I have to get a specific size for drill dust collector or are they all the same ?

Yes IMO, Ive used Starett Bosch and Makita and they are all good. I prefer Makita for tools because they have a clear searchable website enabling you to compare everything being sold and then search for it

I think they are a standard size but there are more versions in the marketplace now.
