Fair go I'd forgotten they made it a condition of employment for some. Those folks were the minimum wage end though. I was dealing with my mothers' care workers at the time - they all wanted the jabs. A high proportion of them took the job instead of things like shelf-filling in supermarkets - same pay. The job adverts at the time made the comparison. The traning was about 2 days watching someone else change nappies. . With all due respect ( ie not much) they aren't the sort of people I'd look to for medical judgement.
I asked a couple of hospital nurses if they had to have it, way back. They denied it, but they were first in the queue anyway.
