How to wall mount a socket strip

Would it stick firmly to a backing board though? Wouldn’t want it to come off when things were plugged in or unplugged!
Smear Evo-Stik or Bostik on both surfaces.
Allow to become tack dry then carefully align with the back board and press firmly. You will pull the plaster off the wall before the socket comes off the board. (But as the board will be screwed to the wall, that ain't gonna happen either.

Ok, update on this: I was in Homebase and I bought this “T-Rex Mounting Tape” thing. Stuck a strip of it onto the adaptor, stuck adaptor onto the wall, pushed hard on it for 30 seconds and left it overnight. Doesn’t look like it is going anywhere.

They may regret it when they come to pull a stiff plug out and it strips the wallpaper instead.
