The 2 most local Aldi stores to me both have batteries and chargers in stock.Ring the number on the warranty page or the label on the tool itself. Ferrex have subcontracted their repair/ spares to a company in Yorkshire who have been very helpful when I have wanted parts for my Alddi tools. They will supply a battery & charger if your local store is out of stock.
Thats a needle in a hay stack of a search. Any idea as to where to start though?https://www.allbatteries.co.uk/ might have a suitable battery
I mean if I can not get a battery to run it and (as OP in title states) I can not wire up the grinder from batterys myself; pin for pin. Then dose it not look like a non starter? What are you talking about?
The number I have for them is 0745 693 9277 & you then select 1 for batteries & chargers or 2 for toolsit would appear that the number they have listed in there warrenty card is faules.

Do you want a battery for your tool, or would you prefer to spend your life moaning about things? But as of my last post; mine dont! and I have to go though there automative system that would appear to be (lets be frank, if you want your 3 year warrenty upholding) a complete blody fraud!
Do you really want that?I think for the purposes of keeping this thread alive ...
Ebay is an oligarchy institution there to destroy you. I have my CCJ against them and I have been paid from them now and I have now moved on with my life!Just buy a battery off eBay and move on with your life
Thanks for that! will try them tommorow and see what is what and post backThe number I have for them is 0745 693 9277 & you then select 1 for batteries & chargers or 2 for tools
