I’ve seen it twice now in as many days....

I find it incredibly strange that whilst 'bad' drivers are all around us, no one has ever sat down & managed to talk to one . . . .

That said, a great deal of women also stop and stop a ways back so they are not all bad, they are often smiling at the dogs cooing..

Are you sure it was the dogs and not Pigeons that they were cooing at. ?

Sticking my neck out I'd say there are more women drivers who seem to have something else on their mind so not thinking properly, and more men demonstrating that they're letting testosterone have too much influence on that they do.

I think there are some stereotypical cultural mis-behaviours too. I asked a copper about that. He said he wasn't allowed to say, while he was nodding vigorously.

I don't get why people like you stereotype men, women and nodding Policemen in that way.

Driving past an infants school at 8.30 will tell you everything you need to know about lady drivers, the aggression and inconsideration is mental, it's like a scene out of Mad Max.

They need to get home to their husbands who do night before they go to sleep......

Im sure it wasnt.

But I do get the impression from the way that he reacted when asked to examine his reasons for writing what he did that the penny did drop that he does have an unconscious bias against women drivers, that he does realise he shouldnt, but he cant bring himself to admit it.

He never mentioned Penny.

Look love, if the majority of incidents I witness were caused by men, I would say so, if the majority of incidents I witness were caused by Nigerians, I would say so, but in my small corner of the universe, the majority of incidents involving inconsideration toward other road users and road rage that I witness, tends to lean toward the fairer sex.

A recent documentary filmed in Lagos found most traffic incidents where caused by Nigerians.

A similar documentary filmed in Saudi Arabia found women at fault for very few traffic incidents.

That proves nothing, certainly doesn’t prove any bias, it was factual. If the drivers were male I would have put male. Quite obsessed with this aren’t you?

I went to my sex addicts class this morning. My councilor thinks l've come a long way. She believes this is because l no longer see women as mere sex objects and can appreciate them as equals...
Sounds like she's after a good shag if you ask me!

I went on an 'Unconscious Bias' course in work a few weeks ago. That's 4 hours of my life I won't get back, believe me!
A guy at the front trying to tell us we were all selfish because our opinions of people are based on our opinions of ourselves. As a lot of staff are new this term he decided to get someone to stand up and ask others their opinion of that person. e.g. Are they married, (look for a ring), are they sporty, (look at their build etc), do they have children/pets, do they drink tea/coffee, what alcohol do they drink etc etc. He would then ask people why they chose their answers and would twist their comments around to say they were offering a reflection of themselves. He gave up asking me because my replies were always "I don't know", or "How would I know that without speaking to him/her?"
At the end he singled me out and asked me why I had been 'so obstructive to his lesson'. I replied, "I wasn't obstructive, I was merely truthful in the fact I had never spoken to that person so how could I form an opinion on what they drank, what car they drive or any other matter."
