How long?It's a long game...
I'm sure you can look up your posting history to name one or two.... but UK is holding it's own and leading the way on a few fronts.
And you were surprised it wasn't busy at the border?Schools round here pack up on 21st July.
Says a man who puts his faith in Olympic liar Johnson.By you, nosy and johnD.
Oh, it's because of school holidays that the borders are busy now, is it? Funny that, I thought all the anti-Brexit mob on here were saying recent jams were because of Brexit. At least it’s accepted (by you at least) that there are peak periods that cause disruption. A bit like rush hour eh? How strange. Whoda thunk it?And you were surprised it wasn't busy at the border?
He is also forgetting schools throughout the UK break up from first week in July not just 21stOh, it's because of school holidays that the borders are busy now, is it? Who goes away from uk to work in Europe???mottie has of course left out the fact that his trip has cost him a lot more due to the crash in the pound since 2016...
But apart from that, what he claims to be the case now is at best no better than what existed before...
And of course he can only stay in the EU/EEA for 3 months out of every six months, and cannot work there without a visa...
As is now the case for his children/grandchildren...
I wonder when mottie will come up with a single brexit benefit?
A couple of weeks is enough for me and 99.9999% of the U.K. population. No one rule for anything is fit for all.And of course he can only stay in the EU/EEA for 3 months out of every six months
Which is reciprocal and one of the main benefits of Brexit.and cannot work there without a visa...
If my children or grand children want to work in Europe, I hope they will need a work permit just like they would need to work anywhere decent in the rest of the world. I had to have one as well as a health chech and health insurance when I worked in South Africa and I saw nothing wrong with that - we should have it over here. I wouldn’t want my children or grandchildren to work anywhere in a black economy that pays pyss poor wages along with pyss poor unregulated working conditions. As is now the case for his children/grandchildren...

You know that doesn’t make it right, don’t you?You do know that c. 11% of our economy is "black", don't you?

Yes, I do. My post was in reply to Ellie saying that they would need a work permit if they wanted to work in the EU. Your post was just nitpicking and irrelevant to the thread topic, as was Ellals. You do know that your progeny don't have to leave these shores to be exploited, don't you?
Don't tempt fateI wasn’t held up by the French border control/passport staff.
The result of the oven ready deal, which shafted the country on tne important issues of trade.I didn’t need an international driving permit
I didn’t need a green card for my insurance
I didn’t need a EHIC card because that had been replaced with a GHIC card
I enjoyed free roaming on my mobile.
