Because Conservatives tightened up student visas last year the changes took place in Jan 2024

Also Conservatives tightened up work visas in April this year

Yes, but Starmer is in charge now. Immigration figures will only go one way. Labour aren't known for immigration control - in fact the opposite. They opened the floodgates.

It will because Conservatives tightened up both student visas and work visas

So yes the numbers will be lower

It seems the work visas are being misused so more tightening to come.
