We can't blame immigrants for the chav population in this country. We blame the parents & society for that, because we've failed in educating them to a good standard.

i don't think it's a huge problem now, but i think it's a time bomb for the future.... different cultures just can't co-exist.... it's like oil and water, give it a stir and it all looks great, but eventually they separate and reform.... look at schools now. (the sunday papers are full of it).

And down to reproductives rates, immigrants are rapidly attaining a huge foothold. And being a democracy, things are about to change.... massively.

There is no work for the kids that aren't academics. The manual/apprenticed trades are all going to ready trained immigrants. We've got a whole generation that society doesn't need or want. No wonder they are ****ed off.

That's funny, aside from being a student I'm also a qualified electrician. Most people I went to school with are plumbers/electricians/pipefitters etc. We're all 21/22. I'll admit there's been a massive reduction in apprenticeships, but that doesn't mean we have a whole generation who can't get a decent job without going to Uni.

What we do have is a growing number of idle layabouts who are, inevitably, breeding - creating more idle layabouts. It's a vicious circle, but as more and more women are becoming career focussed and not having children, the ratio of good kids to chavs is getting closer and at some point in my lifetime, there will be more chavs than good kids.

My views on immigration are probably quite well known to those who read these threads, but to blame immigrants for a growing number of chavvy kids/families isn't fair.

My nephew is hoping to go to New Zealand soon to find work. His Dad employs only immigrants in his business. Figure that one out.
The reality is he would be bust without them in todays cut throat private sector workplace.

People like you don't think tradesman should earn a decent wage, which goes a long way to explaining what you are talking about.
