These BFP coils are noted for their failure, usually they are ok when cold, but pack in when they have warmed up a bit.
Curiously, to buy the coil alone is around the £25 mark, yet a pump is around £50 or so - makes little sense!
Do get the thing set up properly though, overfiring with excess oil pressure may not be noticeable but will soon burn the baffles away, and maybe cause local boiling where the flame impinges on the heat exchanger.

Have to say that this is not strictly true. Capacitor boosts starting current. Nothing to do with direction of rotation

Sure, just using layman's terms to give a general understanding.
With these brushless motors, they display the 50Hz oscillation when no capacitor is attached, often enough.
