Can you give some examples of countries that we might be able to agree such better agreements with, after we've given up our EU membership?

We might be able to get better agreement with any country.

There isnt any proof we can
There isnt any proof we cant

But what about any that we might get a better deal with ?

We dont know.
We dont know because the UK hasnt been able to do any bilaterial trade deals for 40 years.

A better deal in terms of what?

a slightly worse deal tariff wise and much less paid to the EU could still be a good deal....

As always, no examples even of the ones they think MIGHT give a better deal.

and no examples that there CANT be a better deal
Wrong.

Our biggest trading partner will not offer a better deal.

I could give you 27 examples with ease.

And you can't give a single example of one that you think would be better.

That deal cost £10B per year.

Have you done a comparision of a deal without that club fee.

Have you taken into account what it might cost to comply with paperwork and control regulations at business level, and the state cost of control of the same ? And how much time it will cost, delays etc ?

There is too much focus on country/bloc to country trade - its not how things are heading.. Governments have less and less influence in global trade. see:
https://www.pwc.com/gx/en/audit-services/assets/pdf/global-top-100-companies-2018-report.pdf

We keep seeing the EU (-us) as this force to be reckoned with on a global scale, but they simply aren't the home of the corporate power houses. They will become less relevant over time.

look at the whole Trump:Iran banking issue. The EU are threatening banks if they adhere to the "sanctions" they will get fined and yet they are all pretty clear currently on what they plan.

I was going to correct you and say that the 'deal' was only actually costing us £8.6bn per year...

However you are correct, but also wrong.

Since the vote and the corresponding sterling currency crash, the bill is now well over £10bn per year :ROFLMAO:

But the average wage earner in the UK pays only about £80 a year in contributions to the EU.

I wonder how much more they have already paid in increased inflation and on those holidays abroad, due to a weaker currency?

How are you not getting:

Net contribution: 8,600,000,000
UK Nationals in employment : 26,630,881
= £322.93?

Also Sterling down / FTSE up = pension?
Sterling down UK tourism/export etc up?

gotta count the +ives as well as the -ives

You obviously don't realise that the main traditional fish stocks have largely migrated to Icelandic/Norwegian waters due to the warming seas.

You could of course go and have a word with their 'foreign owned vessels' if you like, but they (the Icelanders) kicked our arse the last two times :)

In what way?

It's all very well talking about your observations, but I'd equally say that the ones I've been to (and it's many) have had impeccable standards...
(unlike English ones its usually look but don't touch)

But there must be a statistical analysis somewhere to back up your claim?

Interesting observation. Obviously we go to different areas and markets. Never seen any real issue at french markets, certainly no different to uk markets.

What hygeine rules do they ignore ? I might be wrong, but I think there have been far more food and safety issues in the UK than in france over last few years. Be interesting to see the opposite proven true.

Been to loads of French farmers markets and they are a joy to go to, really they are, but in the rural ones (and i have been to a lot) they have no refrigeration or hand washing facilities, this is an EU food hygiene breach.. That said i havent had food poisoning from anything ive bought from there, its all been delicious AFAIR. Re stats, very tricky one that as there is no mandatory or consistent recording of food poisoning cases across the EU.
