Well a certain manufacturer would have just needed the cylinder adding in and a few buttons pressing on the front. Saves wasting a perfectly operating boiler being thrown away

Perhaps they did considered boilers from that certain manufacturer. Perhaps they were found to be not the optimum boiler for the application.
