How can a child sincerely pray? A child by definition is innocent. An innocent child will believe anything it's parents tell it. My son thinks the local Ice cream Van is Evil. He also believes that when people and animals die they become stars in the night sky.

It was a combination of my and his mother's belief systems and a need to instill a sense of discipline in a child that has everything it could need in the physical world.
