Bobby Sands :(

Bloody fool---there are innocent victims who died in this crap and stupid people who thought they could change the world such is the romantic crap surrounding all this, so what was the point of his death, he could have been out down the pub long ago.

Wasn't the whole point of prolonging the 'war' to make it uncomfortable for the US to create USS Tricolour ..... Now the 'red' problem has receded who gives a toss? Old Gerry was given the 'bums rush' during his recent trip to the US... No longer required, new customers only !!
Yesterdays terrorist could become tomorrows criminal, freedomfighter / pawn to SFA after one speech.
It really is true, what goes around, comes around !

Well Bobby Sands was certainly a romantic he was a musician and even wrote poetry about his death and I agree it was a waste but mostly I felt sorry for his young wife who was a great looking woman.

Lets not forget a convicted killer and supporter of scum, and lets not forget his wife knew all this so she was a nasty whore.

Freddie, Loyalists are Protestant, there are no Catholic Loyalists. This is not to say there may not be Catholics who would prefer Ulster to remain part of the UK, but that does not make them a Loyalist, you were simply being pedantic.

Murdering scum is murdering scum, regardless of religion, colour, politics or sex, and all supporters of any terrorism in Ulster is murdering scum...that simple. Incidently, I also include members of the old RUC in that statement as they were responsible for a lot opf deaths through complicity with Protestant scumbags.

No i am not and being protistant is not being a Loyalist, there are a whole range of people live in the North and there are Protestants in the South.

A Loyalist is anybody who wants to be loyal to the crown, but now there is a hiccup as a lot of Loyalist want to be Loyal elsewhere as you see the Scots flag flying more and more there

So was Mandela and considering that Bobby sands was a MP he must have had alot of supporters and you can't say they was all terrorists.
not easy to see it from both sides after years of Propaganda is it.

Having served in Northern Ireland for 2 years with the British Army I can confirm the the IRA was deemed to mean I Ran Away by the army in the 70's. In fact, that term was still being thrown around by squaddies when I was there in 1989.

The dreaded news when you were in the army 12 or 13 years ago was that you were being sent to NI rather than sunny Cyprus and as such received a history lesson on why the exists an IRA and why there are so many splinter groups, many of which all claim to have the same aim. This is b*****ks by the way. Originally, as far as I can remember, this entire situation was created when Edward the something or Richard the whatever, gave away thousands of acres of land to form the counties and the landlord then hiked up their Irish tenants rent.

It bloody ridiculous when you consider that all the killings and all the murders (IRA(and others), as well as British military chiefs who are just as guilty) all stem from a basic land dispute.

I left the army 3 years later and I was glad to get out of NI. Ive since been back and the place is actually very different and very nice. Personally I believe the Shankill Road has the best artwork Ive seen anywhere in the world, regardless of its meaning, which really is meaningless now.
