Is corbyn just really stupid

Was the referendum sold as a one-off? Or was it sold as a best of 'however many'?

As much as I hate the result, it doesn't take away the fact that at the time of voting, we were not told anything other than it was a vote to stay or leave the EU.

I personally would love a second vote now people can see the ****storm it is.
Maybe take it up with the quitter in chief?

"Mr Farage famously said in 2016 that he would back a second referendum if Remain won by a narrow margin as he claimed a 48-52 result would be seen as "unfinished business" by his side."

It was Cameron who sanctioned the referendum.

"Mr Farage famously said in 2016 that he would back a second referendum if Remain won by a narrow margin as he claimed a 48-52 result would be seen as "unfinished business" by his side."

Your neighbour could have said the same and it would have held about as much weight in the commons and lords.

I propose a 100 year brexit delay while we build a country capable of governing itself.

...debate...I think you are completely wrong.....but assume you are correct.....what do we do about the ref after the result is overturned and brexit heroes demand another ref?
Campaign for another referendum, if you wish. No problem, the result will reinforce the opinion of the voters.

is it groundhog day :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
I can understand why the Brexiteers are so quick and willing to resort to insults.
They are repeatedly being proven to have made a mistake, voting for Brexit.
Their arguments have been rebutted, their promises proven to be hollow and the emerging situation is demonstrating that their forecasts are pipe dreams.
The only strategy for them now is to try to save face, hence the speed with which they resort to abuse.

you have been claiming for 2 years that 52-48 is unfinished business.

What's your point
Just pointing out that the quitters wouldn't have accepted the result, so why should remainers...

And who knows - your new found 'wisdom' could help swing the vote in favour of staying in the EU (y)

Utterly illogical nonsense.

Mr Farage was not Prime minister was he

No. All that RWR gullible morons require is someone with a loud mouth and plenty of lies, to convince them.

We had the Prime minister stating there was not going to be another vote..

If you believe
Some bloke saying that we should if the vote went wrong or another bloke says we can spend all this money on the NHS. And he is not the leader of this country.
Then more fool you.

Evidently, some (a lot) did believe it.
Or are you suggesting that the Brexiteers voted without hearing or believing the Vote Leave propaganda? They just voted Brexit on a whim? Against all the warnings of economic damage.

Even the governments own assessments suggest UK will be worse off under any form of Brexit:
The UK will be poorer economically under any form of Brexit, compared with staying in the EU, new government analysis suggests.

Official figures say the UK economy could be up to 3.9% smaller after 15 years under Theresa May's Brexit plan, compared with staying in the EU.

But a no-deal Brexit could deliver a 9.3% hit, the new estimates say.
