No it was decades of neo liberal policies by mostly Tory governments......the same Tory party that wants you to blame immigrants.

Right wing supporters are so easily brainwashed

Projection alert.
Is that a stiff warning?

I've still to have an answer off you on why you can see through daily mail articles but I can't.
It's easily done by poking holes in the fabric and substance of the article.
Ounce (sic) you learn to poke holes in the DM articles, you'll be able to see right through them. :giggle:

Thought it was getting worse. Most of those coming now have no intention of leaving.
Yes, the EU migration was mostly young unattached people wanting to experience the wide world.
The non-EU economic migrants have migrated for a more permanent life, and brought their family with them.
I'm confident the Brexit designers were aware of that.

Blairs done alright out of the property market, best ask him as a 'socialist' why he didn't build more council houses.

no they haven’t been replaced.

lots of UK businesses have moved to into the EU to have access to the Single Market, Holland and Ireland being popular destinations. Guess what a marketplace of £16 trillion is more attractive than a marketplace of £2.8 trillion.

poor Gant he voted to make the U.K. worse off
That's true. many businesses have opened EU accessible outlets, at additional expense. But I'm sure they did their homework and decided the additional expense would be worth it.
As of October 2023, Screwfix operates a network of over 870 stores across the United Kingdom, Ireland and France.

the first shops being established in France in 2017 and Belgium in 2019. At time of writing, there are 75 shops in The Netherlands, 37 in France, and 11 in Belgium.

The European Expansion Accelerator (EEA) will serve all active sellers and make it easier for them to list their products in all EU and UK stores, while giving customers access to millions of items. Dated April 2023

Etc.

As Notch7 would say "Brexit - a load of increased costs for no real benefit. "

”UK businesses leaving U.K. to be in Single Market”

is not the same as

”there’s no foreign owned businesses set up,in Britain since Brexit”

if you think it is the same, you need to work on your comprehension skills.
They've probably done what Screwfix, Toolstation, Amazon, et al have done, and opened UK based outlets to work around the EU - third country regulations, with the additional costs penalty.
The hauliers aren't affected, except that goods are now transported en masse, instead of individual items being shipped.
Domestic postal services aren't affected because they're still the end delivery system.
Customers are affected because they now have to pay those additional costs.

Or they will buy from a cheaper supplier inside the market.

Remember arch-Brexer Rees-Mogg set up business in RoI to get the benefits of being in the EU.

Or they will buy from a cheaper supplier inside the market.
Of course. But if they have been used to a certain supplier, or even a certain product, they'll hope to stick with what they are familiar with.
That isn't possible in many cases since brexit. Additional searching for suitable suppliers or products now becames part of the additional expense and inconvenience. Or even at the extreme, a change in end product or market sector, etc.
