Is there a god?

How old is universe, I doubt if we even have a clue as to how to measure it accurately, it is probably just a wild guess based on some crude method of observing intensity of light, and the amount of red shift, the intensity itself can vary from one source to another and its size, etc, there are too many variables to reach an accurate figure, most scientist have agreed to a figure of 13.7Billion years, but this is not a proof that it is this old.

Further more, what has God's existence got to do with how old is our universe, even if we take the figure as accurate, what does that prove about God's non-existence or his existence.

Scientist are totally lost in a myth of mathematics jungle.

We won't lose our faith in a creator of all things. We need not know how old the universe is, and how it was made in detail, except we agree it was created in some way, doesn't matter how long ago, long enough is good enough! by that creator, no one else could have created it other than him, and yes any process of creation requires an input from something or someone.

Mind you if as scientist claim God does not exist, I got a feeling they could well be right but then who knows He might just pop out of Nothing! without anyone's input! may be in the next 13.7Billion years from now, I chose this figure because it sounds just about right!

It completely proves that those people that don't understand complex science are better off believing in fairies - because it's easier !! you don't want to get all jumbled up in them numbers, so god will sort it out for ya !!

The two disillusioned evil men who carried out this heinous crime in Woolwich did so in complete vain in the name of God, who I hope will never forgive them, and I hope they will rote in hell forever.

The standard 13.75 billion may be an estimate but it is pretty accurate when compared to the biblical figure. Of course when the 6000 years was decided upon they had no idea it would endure to this day and even less idea that it would one day be possible to work out the actual date.
