Is Trump an Imperialist dictator?

I keep changing my mind on him, one min I think he is a great leader then he does something I think, OMG how crazy is. that. I am now back in the camp that he is just a bit lapsed on certain things, he is not such a bad bloke really, he does speak a lot sense most of the time.

For his age he is a great mover, look at Theresa May when she danced on the TV. You cannot compare the two.

Not only an Imperialist dictator but a failed businessman...

The United States’ stock market has shed more than $1.7 trillion in value after US President Donald Trump declined to rule out the possibility the economy could enter a recession this year. @ Al Jazeera

remind me...how's he Making America Great Again?

A trade war with Canada and NATO allies seems to be working well...

It's still not clear what Trump is up to or what he actually wants. He is still saying the tariffs on Canada are about fentanyl. But only a tiny amount of fentanyl comes from Canada:

Hassett claimed Canada is a “major source” of fentanyl imports, despite Canada being responsible for just 0.2% of illegal imports of the drug into the United States

Is Trump sulking because Canada don't want to be the 51st state?

What Trump says and what he actually does are two clear and distinct states of action.

If you don't think the world of politics and business is full of MANY people just as bad as Trump, open your proverbial eyes.
The world of politics is not full of people as bad as Trump

You are just desperate to claim there are all the same as you believe that excuses you for supporting a morally corrupt pathological liar who is also incompetent as a political leader.

I don't really think he is bad.
Yes, he's uncouth.
Brash.
He shoots from the hip, but I think such qualities are rather refreshing for a politician.
So you like the qualities of a person who is morally corrupt, a pathological liar, a spiteful vindictive bully and emotionally immature

You admire those qualities because you have the same qualities

Trump is right about some things.
He's decisive
People do follow him.

There is a bother with some things, that's all:
- the things he's wrong about,
- the things he doesn't have a clue about,
- the things which he dismisses until he understands them better
- the way he goes about doing things
- his self obsession
- his self importance
- his disrespect for others
- his disrespect for the laws of his country
- and the way he says things which are not true
- and the other things he does, says or thinks.

What he's doing is an experiment in several areas, Some things will work, so the experiments would be OK but for the collateral damage and the inevitable negative results which are part of any experiment.

The US already has an airbase in Greenland for military purposes. Trump should back off trying to acquire Greenland. We don't need the Arctic becoming another warfare zone. That would just be an environmental disaster for all of us.

It is still a win for the US though. As he shakes the world order up, countries increase their defence spending and the US manufactures and exports much of these arms. He creates the problem and his country provides the solution.

Greenland is much closer to Canada. It would be really funny if they reject US and make a deal with Canada instead.
