Israel under attack

There were 2 options:

1) whole of UK stay in single market

2) whole of Island of Ireland stay in SM for goods and border between NI and GB

Thats it.

there were never any other options, any brexer that claims otherwise is engaging in cakeism.

You forgot the footnote:

"The above only applies if we ignore the fact that the EU itself proposed Smart Border 2.0 which could have solved the problem"

Don't you think it's incredibly arrogant to claim to be right and that anyone who questions you is a "insert rude word here"

Taking a line from from a longer quote, but avoiding the question asked, don't understand your point, anyone can easily do that.
Was your question, how many Jews are members of Hamas?
No idea actually.
Don't see the relevance of the question in first place, unless you believe there is an equivalence between the Israeli army and Hamas.
The Palestinians are the people under occupation, as such, they don't have a subject jewish population to recruit from either by inducement or intimidation.

hamas would'nt have a subject Jewish population, as their stated aim is to eradicate them, which was the obvious point.

There are reports of Al Shifa hospital being a base for Hamas dating back as far as 2007. All reports are biased one way or the other.
The video seems fake.
Having said that, the Israelis wouldn't incur so much negative publicity by invading a hospital unless they believed there was something there.

Are you surprised, given the way the Israelis have treated them.
No one has to be eradicated Israeli or Palestinian.
Someone has to step in and force the Israelis and Palestinians to compromise.
At this point, the Israelis are holding all the aces, so have no incentive to compromise.
Unless the Americans and the British stop giving Israel unqualified support, nothing will change and the Palestinians will be the people in danger of being eradicated.

Not quite.

Palestinians want what was there own before the jews took it.
The misquoted statement is simply to that effect.

Similar to the Irish vs British occupation.

In the midst of Israel’s brutal attack on Gaza, the US is again urging Israel to come up with a plan for the day after. However, as in 1967, Israel’s driving ambitions now focus on retaining as much of the land as possible and getting rid of as many Palestinians as possible.

Mass expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza was also not feasible while the world was watching. So other strategies were employed. The first of these was to make life unbearable, by ruling with an iron fist and keeping the standard of living very low. The second was by encouraging emigration. Personally supervised by the prime minister, Levi Eshkol, this strategy relied on financial incentives. By mid-1968, tens of thousands had left the Strip, mostly for Jordan. But Jordan decided to stop admitting them, so Israel increased its attempts to boost emigration of Palestinians to non-Arab countries such as Brazil and other South American states, as well as Canada and Australia, but with little success. In the end, none of these strategies brought about significant results, leading Eshkol to lament, “I still don’t know how to get rid of them.”

"The above only applies if we ignore the fact that the EU itself proposed Smart Border 2.0 which could have solved the problem"
If you had done your research and read the smart border 2.0 report you would have discovered it stated very clearly in that report infrastructure would’ve been required at the border, ie it would’ve been a hard border.

And a hard border would be unacceptable, given the history of that border.

If you like me to provide the links and extracts from the report I can dig them out again.

Don't you think it's incredibly arrogant to claim to be right
I’ve done extensive research on this matter.

It is not arrogant to state facts.

by the way, if a smart border was a solution, why did Brexit supporting Tory MPs not vote for Theresa Mays backstop deal? Oh that’s right….because they discovered there was no workable solution

Eradicate-Evict - shall we play Semantics?
And the sub headline from your article, "Decades after the 1967 war, Israel is still under the illusion that violence against the Palestinians will give it peace and security".

R4 this morning when the Israeli spokesperson was interviewed about Palestinian deaths "we are dealing with a genocidal terrorist organisation whose aim is to kill every man, woman and child in Israel. With that in mind our response is proportionate".

Call it semantics but Israel will point to that every single time.

And so you will too.
He may call it 'proportionate' but the world watching on does not agree.
