There is a difference to having sympathy for an action, which may be criminal damage or tampering with a road sign. But if you read up on the law you'd know that this is far short of encouraging a person to commit a crime. In your case however, as you are now aware. Posting support, encouragement, justification etc etc on a public formum of a prescribed Terrorist organisation is an offence in UK law. I note you have now stopped doing it. Probably the smartest thing you've done all week.
