...and so is the criticism of the Israeli slaughter and starvation of Palestinian civilians. None of your bullshít 'hate speech/anti semitism' nonsense says otherwise. Criticism of recent Israeli atrocities, are coming in thick and fast from all corners and is lawful, rational and legitimate.

You should use the words Jewish factions. There has been numerous interviews

It seems a sizeable group blame Benj for the fact that the Hamas attack happened. There were also demo's concerning some changes or the other he made prior to the 7th.

Polls suggest there is wide support for the war.

Hostages back group. They have been a bit mixed up in terms of how. It's not really clear if they think that a deal with Hamas would be needed. There is a view that many of the 39 dead ones are down to IDF attacks. Some of this group may see things that way.

Some do think starvation would be a good idea. Benj started that way. No food, water or electricity. Sort of old fashioned siege. Plus bombs and attacks.

Then the settler groups.

Past this you may as well see the others as views held by a few and some pundits. There used to be a number of Israeli that thought Palestinians were treated unfairly. The attack has altered that.

Aid. Well it has never been consistent right from the start. There were a range of restrictions on what was allowed in that suggest some one sat down and quickly drew up a list of what Hamas etc "might" use. Eg timber packing, tin cans, even date pits.

Recent US UN noises, On the face of it fear that starvation was going to be used. Benj - looks like in other respects he is just getting on with it both in Gaza and Lebanon as he sees fit. Aid still a wait and see. Leave Rafar alone was an earlier request.This seemed to be no repeats of what happened elsewhere.
 
Several Palestinian farmers and international activists were attacked with toxic gas by Israeli forces and settlers while picking olives in Beit Lid, east of Tulkarem, in the occupied West Bank. The director of the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Murad Shteiwi, told the Wafa news agency that Israeli forces and settlers fired live rounds and gas canisters towards those harvesting olives.

Dozens of people suffered suffocation-like symptoms from the gas, Shteiwi added. He said the international volunteers refused to leave the area despite Israeli threats. This year’s olive harvest season is experiencing repeated attacks by settlers and Israeli troops, including burning and cutting down olive trees and preventing farmers from reaching their land.

Washington said at the time that it expected Israel to further improve conditions for Palestinians in the besieged strip. But humanitarian officials say conditions have worsened, as looting nearly choked off supplies from the main aid access point and Israeli forces killed Palestinians guarding convoys against theft.

About 1,700 trucks entered the enclave in the month to December 12, according to UN data, just over 100 more than in the preceding month, when aid deliveries hit their lowest point since the start of Israel’s war with Hamas.


“It got to the point where we were lucky if we got half a truck in,” said Louise Wateridge, UNRWA Senior Emergency Officer in Gaza. “People can’t have one day where they just know: my family will eat.”
