It's very obvious to anyone with half a brain that Hamas did not care about what Isreal would do to retaliate.
It's difficult to predict genocidal policies.
Perhaps they might have considered the fate of their people.
It is the fate of the Palestinians imprisoned without trial, especially the women and children, in Israel, and the continued killing of civilains and the taking of their land, that motivated the taking of Israeli hostages.
The conflcit did not begin on 7 October, much as genocidal supporters try to argue it did.
Its also fairly obvious that some want to blame jews for everything that is happening in Gaza and the Red Sea,
Israel is the miliotary occupier of Gaa and the west Bank. Who else is responsible for killing of Palestinians, the eviction from their land, the imprisoning and torture?
and some are happy to call such hatred "free speech"
That is the US law, much as we might disagree with it, we hav eno vote in US law making.
and take no action to protect those people who are jews
I am confident that if and when speech turns to conduct, the authorities will act accordingly.
Do you not have the same confidence?
and have nothing to do with the Gaza war
What about the Jews who put pressure on US politicians to continue support for genocide?
Are they equally responsible?
and Red Sea shipping attacks
The Red Sea atacks by Houthis are a demonstration of support for Palestinians suffering genocide at ehhands of Israel.
Do you suppor genocide by Israel? Your comments suggests you do.
I see no fake outrage over liz Magill resignation - is it because she is white?
So is Sally Kornbluth
All three have argued the same argument over free speech, as legislated in US law, and have all three have ben pressurised to resign.
As fas as I am aware, only Ms Gay received horrific racist abusive pressure to resign, along with unsupported attacks on her academic record. The pressure on the other two has been limited to political pressure.
