Kier Starmer alternative names.

ha ha ha

Its far too early to make any sweeping statements BUT he has all the hallmarks of Theresa Maybe
Was long enough for you to decide he isn't a leader.

Compared to the last 4 or 5 PM's he seems the best so far. Could change yet though.

Yes he is

Starmer maintains strict discipline in his party taking no truck from leftists who don’t follow the party line.

On the riots, Starmer acted decisively, the tough sentencing quickly discouraged the Farage supporting thugs

That’s leadership.
I fully commend him on his leadership in tackling the recent far right riots. he was the best person, with his previous legal experience, to tackle the problem.

But political parties are naturally broad churches. I wholly disagree with 'whips' frocing MPs to vote according to "the Party line". Excluding some members, by delays of processes, etc, because they fall outside the leader's personal ideology is pursuing a strict narrow ideological narrative.
I don't have any special respect for Dianne Abbot, but I do think the treatment of her was very disrespectful and abuse of party rules.

What's wrong with clarifying what the media claims has been said. with the person who the media claims it has said it?
Perfectly good political tactic to ensure that way out, whacky and probably illegal ideas of push back is out of the question.
Good for her.

"Tory treasurers who donate £3m are almost always offered peerages"

Nice to know the price ticket.
And that was disgusting too - but can you or any of your leftie mates not condemn this obvious corruption between the unions and the labour leadership.

wouldn't it be nice if we had straight forward honest politicians rather than the utter crap we always seem to end up with?

If it was obvious corruption, I would condemn it. But if you base your question on an incorrect assumption, you can't expect a reasonable response.

I didn't want BJ, I didn't vote for BJ, I argued that he was a liar and has been sacked several times for lying.
Bu the right wingers wanted a lying idiot as PM. That's democracy, even if it is faulty.

So who crashed the world's economy at the same time?
Not the british, hence my post, but we proudly contributed to it with week regulation of the banks under brown, and brexhit.

I didn't care for BJ as PM at all (I liked his approach to cycling and sustainable transport when he was LM) but he as PM, like the torries in general were hopeless and have done a lot of damage to our country.

But sadly I don't see starmer and his side kicks being any better, his sinister out in the open for all to see double standards (two tier kier if you like) is deeply worrying. How authoritarian will he become

Our political system is just so wrong - a landslide victory with only a third of the votes - that is not democracy

It was a global downturn due to world events, the big scam and then Russia invading Ukraine. Anyone in power in the UK would have seen the same issues, it's just that we started to recover, better than some, and have now thrown a spanner in the works by electing a bunch of Stalinists. You think the last few years were bad? Just prepare yourself for the next collapse.

I’ll fill my rucksack, I’m impressed with your powers of foresight
