Has anyone else noticed what an extremely long filtrum Adolf Hitler had? I don't thing I've ever seen anyone else with such a long one  How strange.

Personally, I would hate it if the BNP did get into power. IMHO they are nothing but thugs in suits - you might as well put someone like the Kray twins in power (but at least they had respect for people).

I do however think that immigration is out of control. I am far from racist and don't mean it in a racist way but why not apply rules like the USA, Canada and Australia have done? They have strict rules that say you have to be able to support yourself for so many years and cannot claim state benefits etc. I really do think a lot of immigrants only come here because they know that they will get handouts and free health care.

I have nothing against immigrants who want to come here to work and better their way of life etc, just the scroungers :( Incidentally, I also believe that there are enough British people living in UK who are more than capable of working and just don't want to - make them get up and out too.

True enough. I gave up using the job centre to recruit staff because the people they send are generally workshy and are only applying for the job because they have to to keep getting benefit. The ones I have taken on have all been close to useless. I wonder if we could export them to make room for the people who want to migrate here to work?

not very understanding of you Hermes, not very sympathetic at all. maybe you frightened them or something, maybe your expectations are too high?

I frightened most of them by telling them they had to be here at 8.30am!

Yes my expectations were a little high, I didn't expect to have to re-train them after every tea-break.

I stopped using the job centre a couple of years ago, and I have discovered that the best way is to get someone through a job agency. If they are no good you only pay for a day or 1/2 day, if they are keen then you offer them a job on the books (the job agencies don't approve of this approach, by the way.)
