it was the Conservatives fault that we needed an IMF bail out............it was James Callaghan that had to sort out the Tories destruction of the economy.

There is a view that he believes, in order for his company to achieve word domination, he wants to weaken foreign powers, especially Europe and its outliers, that might attempt to control multinational corporations and tax-dodging billionaires. He's also bashing France and Germany.

He may think that Starmer favours fair tax and that a billionaire-friendly government would suit his interests better.

I am not sure X is as harmless or transient a platform as the word plaything suggests. He seems to want the country to move much further to the right as evidenced by his support for TR. His words affect all of us in the UK, even those who thinks he's my enemies enemy.

Does it matter whether he gives a feck? His language and actions have to be taken at face value. I've no time for Jess but she has done nothing to deserve the attack on her.

Quite the reverse. She has dedicated her career, before and after entering Parliament, to helping and campaigning for women and girls suffering abuse.

I am not comparing her to them, she seems to me to be a born politician who is good at talking and policies. Hence her non department with a fancy title. Shameless self promoter as witness her bromance with Ree-smogg. As I said she doesn't deserve the attack on her.

I disagree, Jess Philips is a serious politician who has dedicated her life to public service

She spent 5 years working for Womens Aid, she is a campaigner to end modern slavery, she is an advocate against womens violence and she has spent time sitting down with victims of groomings gangs and talking to them

I'm not sure what evidence you have of her being a shameless self promoter -I know she done a bit of TV etc, but so what.

I used to think she was a stand out MP when it came to campaiging for women and girls but I changed my mind on her some time ago now, long before the spat between her and Musk. When she added the name of a murdered male to the femicide list and read the list out in Parliament... I realised she was a wrong un.
