The question was "So how does the warm moist air you mention penetrate the ceiling when the lights are compliant with part C and L air tightness regs?"
There is no "so" relating to "Lots of fire rated led units avalaible require not additional covers as they are sealed units..." as 'fire rating' of lights does not imply any such seal.
