Liar .............

Well my previous post already addressed your point so no need to repeat.

Yes but, remove the Harwood hate, and see a copper - in those circumstances - striking someone on the legs and shoving them, assertively... now what do you see...(like the rest of you, you will see what describes you, not what actually happened !!)

Do you have mental health issues ? You seem to be in a world of your own.

For other readers ~

Oddly enough when this murderous act was carried out the other policemen were just stood milling about, no missiles flying about, no direct threat.
Apart from the bully boy.

Well, crocodile tears from Harwood today in court.

Marty, for what it's worth. I really think you should pay a visit to Specsavers tomorrow and have a look at the video and pictures again. Now it's a "robust" shove (as opposed to a "simple" shove")
PC Harwood deserves to be found guilty. He (quite literally,,, and on video) attacked an innocent member of the public. The video doesn't show other officers fearful for their lives on that street at that time. Harwood can cry all he bloody well likes, he'll receive no sympathy from me. Simple fact is, he's solely responsible for the death of another human being. An innocent man, who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time,,,,, (much like any other murder victim)

If Ian Tomlinson was ever guilty of any crime, then that would be drunk and disorderly in a public place. A crime which carries a sentence of a £30 fine, not a death sentence. :!: :!:

Agree entirely...........his tears are for himself Crocodile tears if you ask me.

There are some individuals, you put them in a uniform and they are transformed into "gestapo" like characters, i think Hardwood to be such an individual or maybe he had been watching to much Gene Hunt.

What he di was reasonable in the situation....

A jury who heard the evidence including witness testimony already decided Tomlinson was unlawfully killed. Who unlawfully killed him?

Well i disagree... who nearly killed Patrice Muamba ?

You disagree with the jury that heard all the facts ???

Nearly Nearly Nearly Killed ?????????
how can you compare the two what are you on ?

Somehow I think you MUST work in The public sector you seem divorced from reality and common sense.

During last years riots the Police were criticized for NOT steaming in.

They simply can't win either way.

The very foundations of law and order on the streets of this country have gone down the crapper, purely because the namby pamby members of our society have ripped the ass out of discipline the Police are allowed to enforce.

They daren't bother there asses anymore. And I for one wouldn't bloody blame them.

Doesn't give the police a green light to violent hit with a baton then violently push over a man who was showing no signs of a threat, he was walking away quietly.

Police have far too many power and it's interesting that none get banned up when they kill.

Don't be so patronising if you want people to respond to your posts.

I don't hate him, I leave that to the relatives of Tomlinson.

I want a police service that protects and serves my interests as an honest member of society instead of protecting and serving their own. I want accountability at all levels in all our public services. We are missing both right now.

I will leave the jury to determine whether what he did was reasonable. He is undoubtably a thug.

Patronising is all you'll get on this site believe me !!
And i get responses whether i want them or not lol !!!!

And i wna t the police to protect societies needs, not just yours!! or their own.

What he di was reasonable in the situation....

societies response to his death and police inaction is why this copper is in the court right now, do you want to rejoin society and get with the program?

but the point of this is not for the fun of the police, it's to PROTECT US, and to PROTECT BUSINESS and also to PREVENT CRIME.

Yes, that's the point. To "PROTECT US" and "PREVENT CRIME".

Ian Tomlinson was one of "US" and assault on someone innocent is not preventing crime.

Ian Tomlinson was walking away from the thug in uniform. The job of the police was to protect him (as you say “PROTECT US”) not to assault him.

Do you have mental health issues ?

No and i take that as a huge insult..

We have differing opinions thats all !! you should take stop of that mouth !!!

Your view seems special..............I thought perhaps you were a little lacking in mental ability.

If that's not the case I apologize its just how you come across at times,
do you work in the public sector, my money's on Yes !!!

When you look at the video and see how he was loitering and walking deliberately slowly he deserved a good shove.

Some of you lot are just anti authority, and we get an unfortunate case like Tomlinsons and you lot pounce.

The police do one of the most difficult jobs there is.... they operate (well most of them) by a set of rules whereas what they face, i.e. the criminal world throws those rules out of the window.

To me the actions of PC Harwood in that situation were within the boundary of reasonable. Don't forget the hundreds of people who were throwing rocks, torching buildings etc etc. So the police needed to act. A strike to the leg, and a robust push would've been ignored had the guy not died.

What annoys me most about you lot is this:

and this:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ukn...-riots-three-men-killed-protecting-homes.html

4 people killed by rioters.... not one mention from you lot...
